What is Rogaine?

What can Rogaine do for hair loss?

Most men have at least a 50 percent chance of experiencing hereditary hair loss - and that's just by their 50th birthday. If you have older men in your family that have lost hair by their 50th birthdays, the reality might make you cringe. You might think, "I know hair loss is inevitable for many men but at age 50?!" There is something to be done about it.

In addition to mens' hair replacement procedures, Rogaine hair loss remedy is an option to consider. Rogaine products are used to treat hereditary hair loss and comes as a foam that is applied twice a day. It is a topical treatment, not a systemic treatment (that is taken internally), and it has been approved for use without a prescription, because Rogaine treats baldness without altering male hormones. But, it still might be a good idea to talk to your doctor about your decision to use Rogaine and about how well it works for you. Believe it or not, you may experience more hair loss within the first few weeks of using Rogaine but this is considered normal and temporary. If this continues after six weeks, talk to your doctor.
